Excessive taxation, government intrusion and endless warfare.
The income tax on individuals should be eliminated for those earning below $100,000 and reduced for those who earn under $300,000. The eventual goal should be to eliminate individual income taxes entirely.
The Congress should always adhere to the Constitution when passing laws. I will make sure to advise my constituents on proposed legislation and any deviations from Constitutional principles and why I supported or rejected legislation.
We must reduce the number of overseas military bases and installations and begin to divorce our nation from foreign entanglements. We should continue to have a powerful military. Our focus should be upon the stability and security of our continent.
The government can reduce or eliminate various taxes and overlapping regulations by federal bureaucracies. The U.S. has over 750 military bases in 80 countries which costs $70 billion or more annually. These installations could be reduced and those funds directed to upgrade domestic infrastructure and fund the growth of our economy.
Education should continue to be administered on a local level as the people deem to be appropriate.
The Federal government should encourage the construction of underground data centers for greater security and fewer environmental problems. Geo-thermal cooling would reduce electrical use and water pollution. Noise pollution would be almost eliminated. The data centers would have to be regulated to protect the private information of citizens and conform to Constitutional law.
