Every vote carries consequences. It decides whether people get healthcare, fair wages, safe communities, and basic dignity. I support automatic voter registration, same-day registration, early voting, secure mail voting, and federal protections against voter intimidation. I also support restoring the Voting Rights Act and protecting election workers from threats. No politician should be able to choose their voters, silence communities, or make democracy harder because they fear the result. Voters should decide elections. Full stop.
The federal government has a duty to manage immigration, but it must do so lawfully and humanely. ICE should not have a blank check to raid communities, separate families, or detain people without due process. I opposed the Laken Riley Act because it gave political cover to policies that put immigrant families and civil rights at risk. Nevada deserves real safety, not fear dressed up as law enforcement. I support accountability, constitutional protections, and an immigration system that treats people with dignity.
Nevada families are being squeezed by rent, groceries, prescriptions, insurance premiums, and wages that do not keep up. As a cardiologist, I have had patients ask what a medication costs before asking what it does. That is policy failure. We need to lower healthcare and drug costs, protect Social Security and Medicare, build affordable housing, support unions, invest in small businesses, and create good jobs. We also need to get corporate PAC and lobbyist money out of Congress. You cannot fix affordability while taking money from the people profiting from it.
I support restoring federal protections for abortion rights. As a doctor, I know reproductive healthcare is healthcare. These decisions belong to patients and their doctors, not politicians. I support protecting abortion access, contraception, IVF, miscarriage care, emergency care, and medical privacy. Government bans force doctors to hesitate and patients to suffer. That is dangerous medicine and dangerous policy. I trust women, patients, and doctors. I do not trust politicians to practice medicine from Congress.
In medicine, I have worked with patients, families, nurses, specialists, and hospital teams from every political background. When someone is in a hospital bed, you do not ask who they voted for. You listen, look at the facts, and do what helps the patient. That is how I will work in Congress. I will work with anyone serious about lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and helping Nevada families. But cooperation should solve problems. It should never give cover to cruelty, corruption, or attacks on people’s rights.

Dr. Aury Nagy believes every legal vote must be protected and counted fairly. He supports commonsense election integrity measures, including Voter ID requirements and the SAVE Act, which would require proof of citizenship for federal voter registration. Dr. Nagy believes these safeguards help strengthen public confidence in elections while protecting the constitutional rights of eligible American voters. He also supports improving election transparency, maintaining accurate voter rolls, and ensuring elections are conducted securely, efficiently, and without outside interference. As a physician and problem-solver, Dr. Nagy believes voters deserve an election system built on trust, accountability, and equal application of the law.
Dr. Aury Nagy believes the federal government’s first responsibility is protecting American citizens, beginning with secure borders and enforcement of immigration laws. He supports ICE and President Trump’s border policies, which reduced illegal crossings and strengthened national security. Dr. Nagy believes border security is also a public health issue because fentanyl and illegal drugs have devastated American families. He supports deporting violent criminals and those here illegally, opposes sanctuary policies, and believes legal immigration should be respected while enforcing the rule of law fairly and consistently.
Dr. Aury Nagy believes America’s economic strength depends on lowering costs for families, supporting small businesses, securing affordable energy, and reforming healthcare. As a practicing neurosurgeon, he has seen how bureaucracy, insurance companies, pharmaceutical corporations, and overseas investors have driven up costs while putting profits ahead of patients. He supports healthcare reforms focused on prevention, innovation, competition, and price transparency to lower costs and return control to patients and doctors. Dr. Nagy also supports policies that strengthen American jobs, domestic manufacturing, and economic independence.
Dr. Aury Nagy supports policies that protect life, expand alternatives to abortion, and provide greater support for women and families. He supports restricting federal funding to Planned Parenthood while increasing funding for adoption services, family support programs, and resources for expectant mothers. As a physician, Dr. Nagy also believes more attention should be given to the emotional and mental health challenges some women experience after abortion, and he supports expanding access to counseling and mental health services. He believes healthcare policy should focus on compassion, support, and putting patients first.
As a physician, Dr. Aury Nagy has spent his career focused on solving problems, not playing politics. Through the whitecoat party.com he worked with Republicans and Democrats who supported better healthcare policies for patients. He also partnered with Democrat community leaders such as Linda Young through the Nevada Nutrition Coalition and worked with Las Vegas Councilman Brian Knudsen on the Biotech Nevada initiative to help build a biotech incubator and strengthen Nevada’s economy. In Congress, Dr. Nagy will bring that same results-driven approach, working with anyone willing to put solutions and American citizens ahead of partisan politics.

Independent Black Voters
Every eligible American should have the opportunity to vote, and every voter should have confidence that the process is secure, fair, and transparent. I also support expanded mail-in voting options and early voting measures to ensure every eligible voter has a meaningful opportunity to participate regardless of work schedules, military service, disabilities, transportation challenges, or family obligations. I also believe we need strong penalties for voter intimidation, deliberate misinformation about voting procedures, and any unlawful interference at polling locations. Every voter deserves to feel safe and informed when participating in our elections. Protecting voter rights means balancing accessibility, transparency, and accountability.
As Americans we all have a responsibility to look after one another and as Nevadans we need to protect all those living in our state. As Congressman for Nevada District 3, my priority would be to implement laws that limit and/or restrict the sharing of information by various government agencies in regard to immigration status.
I would also ensure increases in funding for immigrant legal services for improved access to representation and due process (if necessary) that would enhance fair and legal processes for immigrants. I would work with groups like ACLU, The Coalition for Humane Immigration Rights(CHIRLA) Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), National Immigration Law Center to protest, advocate, and support immigration rights.
To ensure long-term economic strength of our state and our nation, need to start by addressing corporate greed and restoring balance to the system. Families are being squeezed from every direction. Corporations continue to raise prices, add hidden fees, and make it harder for working people to enjoy the very communities they helped build. Reasonable regulations are necessary to restore fairness to the housing market and protect Nevadans to own homes. Investing in industries like technology, renewable energy, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, and infrastructure development so Nevada is not vulnerable every time tourism is in decline. Investing in real sustainable infrastructure water solutions for Nevada's future growth.
On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on This decision removed the federal constitutional protection for abortion that had been in place for nearly five decades, shifting the authority to regulate or prohibit the procedure to individual states.
The transition from federal oversight to state regulation resulted in an immediate division in abortion laws nationwide. Consequently, access to abortion services is now determined largely by each state's legislation, creating a varied legal landscape across the country. I believe a woman’s right to choose is between her and her healthcare provider. As a member of Congress, I will fight to uphold a woman’s right to choose.
Throughout my time in the Marine Corps and as a Union Vice President, I learned very quickly that effective leadership is not about surrounding yourself with people who think exactly like you—it is about finding common ground and accomplishing the mission despite differences in background, personality, or political perspective. The goal was not to “win” an argument—it was to solve problems, and ensure people felt heard and respected. I found approaching conversations calmly, listen first, and focus on practical outcomes instead of partisan talking points, people are far more willing to collaborate. In Congress, I would focus on mission-oriented leadership: identify the problem, bring stakeholders to the table and work toward results.
