Qualifications and Experience Bill Kaiser is a military veteran, entrepreneur, and retired owner and operator of All Weather Mechanical, Inc., where he served Michigan families for more than 16 years.
Michigan’s education system is failing families with declining outcomes despite high per-pupil spending, bloated bureaucracies, and excessive testing that crowds out real learning and parental input. Teachers face low morale from politicized curricula, weak accountability, and union protections that favor adults over students. I will empower parents and local districts with expanded school choice including vouchers and charters, restore phonics-based reading and core skills, eliminate divisive ideologies, reward top teachers with performance pay, and cut administrative waste so dollars reach the classroom.
To help Michigan residents earn a true living wage and improve affordability, we must focus on pro-growth policies that empower workers and small businesses rather than government mandates that drive up costs. Lower taxes on families and businesses, reduce crushing regulations that burden job creators like tradespeople and manufacturers, promote energy development and skilled trades training, and pursue responsible budgeting to control inflation and housing costs. We must prioritize Michigan workers by cutting red tape, supporting domestic manufacturing and agriculture, and rejecting policies that inflate costs through excessive spending
Michigan should ensure reliable, affordable energy through an all-of-the-above approach that prioritizes American resources including nuclear, natural gas, and responsibly developed traditional sources. We must protect our Great Lakes and natural beauty with practical stewardship, not radical Green New Deal mandates that raise costs and risk blackouts. I oppose rushed transitions that hurt families and manufacturing jobs. Instead, I support innovation, grid reliability, and local control that balance conservation with economic strength, keeping energy prices low so Michigan stays competitive and families can afford effective & reliable energy
All Michigan residents, including noncitizens, deserve basic due process, but we must enforce our laws and prioritize American citizens first. The First and Fourth Amendments protect everyone lawfully present, but open-border policies undermine public safety, strain healthcare, education, and public safety resources, and erode the rule of law. I support strong border security, ending sanctuary policies, requiring legal status for benefits and voting, expedited removal for criminals, and reforms that protect citizens' rights and wages while welcoming legal immigrants who assimilate and contribute.
