Occupation / Current Position State Representative District 78
Education B.A. Wellesley College
Qualifications and Experience Currently a successful State Representative, with 35 years of a business background. Endorsed by the current and former state representatives and senators of the senate district.
Smaller classroom sizes for elementary age students (and more teachers). MDE already agreed to my legislation to establish this as an opportunity, not a mandate.

Partnering with churches and civic organizations for mental health assistance - for more mental health professionals (already trained and offering counseling in each region) and to conserve on resources (free assistance).

Reinforce and defend school choice for parents. Retain freedom for alternative schools (non public) and homeschooling.
Bring back “right to work” so there is increased freedom to find and offer employment - this benefits both employers and employees. Bring back partnership between skilled trades and high schools/middle schools to restore talent pool in skilled trades. Reduce business taxes and over regulation that drives businesses out of our state. Repeal ESTA (earned sick time act), which will allow businesses to hire more employees and grow their businesses.
Allow for all kinds of energy - whatever is cost effective and most efficient. State shouldn’t mandate for all.

Repeal wind and solar mandates and allow local communities to decide what they want to allow and encourage.

Reduce residential utility rates with common sense regulations while reducing business taxes (utility companies included).
Deport non-citizens that don’t have special permission to be here (for example, farm workers). But also reform immigration policy to allow vetted, good people with clean non-violent backgrounds to be considered for an expedient process for immigration.
