I believe every child deserves access to a high-quality education and the resources needed to succeed. Michigan’s schools benefit from dedicated educators, but we still face challenges with funding disparities, teacher shortages, student achievement gaps, and excessive reliance on standardized testing. I support school funding, competitive teacher pay, improved retirement benefits, and more classroom support, recruit and retain quality educators. Standardized tests should be a tool to measure student progress, not the primary focus of instruction. I will work to strengthen public education, support teachers, expand student resources.
District 24 includes neighborhoods, growing areas, and rural farmland, and families everywhere are feeling rising costs. I support policies that help families keep more of what they earn and improve affordability. Affordability is tied to our full economy—from farms and small businesses to housing, healthcare, transportation, and groceries. I support Michigan farmers facing rising costs that ultimately impact prices for working families. I support investing in jobs, workforce development, housing, healthcare, small businesses, farms, and infrastructure. Our economy is all connected—from banks to gas tanks, and from farms to the kitchen table.
I’m pro–clean energy and believe Michigan can ensure reliability, affordability, and environmental protection together.

That means investing in wind, solar, storage, and a stronger grid for reliable power, cutting costs through energy efficiency and weatherization, and protecting public health by reducing emissions and holding utilities accountable.

A smart energy policy delivers clean, reliable, and affordable energy for Michigan families.
I support full constitutional protections—due process, First Amendment, and Fourth Amendment rights—for all Michigan residents, including noncitizens. These rights should never depend on immigration status.
