I've been a sexual assault and child abuse prosecutor for the last 10 years
I support universal healthcare. Growing up, my mom was chronically ill, and my family experienced firsthand how exhausting it can be to navigate our healthcare system. My family’s story informs what I’ll focus on in Congress: reducing costs, increasing access, and improving quality. I’ll consider every responsible proposal that moves us toward quality, affordable healthcare for every American, and I’ll work across party lines to ensure working families aren’t shouldering the cost.
I grew up in Warren, and now my husband and I are raising our three kids here. My family is experiencing the same rising costs as our neighbors, and for so many of us, it’s getting harder and harder to get by. There are many things Congress must do: we need to roll back retaliatory tariffs that cost thousands of Michigan jobs and increase costs, end the war in Iran that’s costing billions and jacking up prices, invest in paid family leave and affordable housing, lower healthcare costs, and bring good-paying jobs home. In Congress, I’ll work with anyone committed to delivering for working families.
As a mom, I worry about what our failing electric grid and infrastructure, climate change, and pollution in Lake Saint Clair will mean for future generations and the thousands of Southeast Michigan jobs tied to our natural resources. We need urgent action: holding polluters accountable, strengthening fuel standards, and expanding clean energy sources. We must also make improving our infrastructure and electric grid a national security priority.
As a prosecutor I’ve worked alongside police, ICE agents, and Border Patrol, and I believe ICE must be held to the same standards as every other law enforcement agency and that we must uphold our constitution. We need bipartisan solutions to secure our border, stop fentanyl and other drugs, and create efficient pathways to citizenship. In Congress, I’ll work with anyone committed to common sense immigration reform.

While I oppose the Affordable Care Act, it is unfair to keep it in place without the subsidies. We must keep those subsidies in place until the ACA can be repealed and we can't go back to the "Managed Care" system we had before the ACA which made ACA necessary either.
We need a completely free market health care. Allow insurance across state lines, expand HSAs, end coverage mandates, require upfront pricing, repeal certificate-of-need laws, reduce licensing barriers, expand direct primary care, increase drug competition, and end subsidies and tax policies favoring employer insurance. Insurance and care truly affordable to almost everyone.
H.R. 25, the FAIRtax, is intended to improve affordability by replacing federal income and payroll taxes with a national consumption tax. Workers would keep their full paycheck, while the monthly “prebate” would offset taxes on basic necessities up to the poverty level. Used goods would not be taxed, encouraging resale and savings. Eliminating embedded federal taxes in production would reduce prices and increase transparency. It is estimated to put $13 Trillion back into the U.S. Economy and encourage foreign companies to move both manufacturing and service jobs to the U.S. for the benefit.
I would work to remove federal restrictions that inhibit the growth of safe, clean, "pocket" nuclear plants for electricity and plant based ethanol for motor vehicles. My "Make Alcohol Fuel Again" plan would empower American farmers, lower dependence on foreign oil, and turn the car you already own into a plant powered green vehicle without requiring a whole new infrastructure for refueling.
Our founding document reads “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness.” There is no caveat for place of birth. The Creator does not endow rights to human beings based on geography.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in grassroots civic leadership, food systems, urban agriculture, community economic development, workforce training, nonprofit operations and public policy.
I will fight to make health care more affordable, accessible, and accountable, while measuring Michigan against states producing better outcomes. Congress can lower families' cost burdens, strengthen the health-care safety net, invest in community-based care, and protect underserved communities. I also support stronger preventive care, including USDA policies that encourage a more nutrient-dense food system through federal agricultural and food regulation.
I support an economy built around people having the power to earn, own, and build where they live. Congress should protect workers, strengthen local businesses, expand truly affordable housing and Community Land Trusts, reinvest in education for an AI-driven economy, and direct federal investment toward locally rooted economic development. In MI-10, I will advocate for inclusive, open, and transparent regional economic planning so residents help decide what gets built and who benefits.
Michigan needs reliable, affordable energy without sacrificing our water, land, climate, or communities. I support accelerating the transition away from overdependence on fossil fuels while investing in resilient infrastructure, efficiency, cleaner energy, and good local jobs. Federal policy should protect consumers and hold polluters accountable. We must also finish neglected work such as fully resolving the Flint water crisis. I support revisiting nuclear power, including advanced technologies and safety systems that protect people and the environment from accidents.
Constitutional rights and due process should not disappear because a person is not a citizen. I support humane immigration reform that protects due process, family unity, asylum and labor rights, and a workable pathway to citizenship. Enforcement must respect constitutional limits and human dignity, including protections against abusive raids and searches. We must address forces that drive migration, including war, exploitation, unfair trade, and climate displacement. As long as the United States remains a dominant economic power, people will try to come here; policy should work with that reality for the benefit of all concerned.

The United States is the richest country in the world, yet we have so many Americans in poor health. Having medical insurance doesn’t mean a person will receive adequate health care and for millions of Americans having insurance is still just a dream. Our healthcare system is built to make profits for big corporations and puts money over human life. Quality health care is a human right and should not be dictated by the color of your skin or the amount of money in your bank account. The wealth generated by the working class should be used on the working class. Only a true universal health care system is the answer.
The working class has put Its faith in two parties that make promises they are unable to keep, while the working class continues to fall backwards. Each election cycle there are enormous amounts of money put into their campaigns by the wealthy and corporate elites, who push economic policies that benefit the capitalists not the working class. A living wage and overall affordability is obtainable when we stop allowing the wealth generated by the working class to be stolen by a few. The only way to combat this perpetuating cycle is for the working class to create its own political party that will advance our issues.
Ensuring reliable energy, consumer affordability and environmental protection requires us to look at the issue on a global scale not just Michigan. The actions done in one part of the world will affect us all. Year after year the working class pays higher energy rates with the promise they are building up our infrastructure but things only get worse. The working class sits at the heart of the economy, we produce, transport, and distribute the food, goods and services that allows this society to run, we deserve better. Elections don’t change society, but a vote for the Working Class Party will show that you want a society that serves everyone.
The United States was founded on the blood, tears and sweat of immigrants and slaves. The economic success seen in this country can be attributed to the many immigrant workers that have come here seeking a better life or to escape oppression in their home country, likely fueled by the US. Immigrant workers, like U.S. born citizens, simply want to work, contribute to their communities and provide a safe environment for their families and children. Immigrants earn money that they spend, creating more jobs and revenue, benefiting our communities. All human beings should be treated decency and respect, regardless of where they were born.
