Niskayuna Board of Education has seven seats serving three year terms. This year there are two seats open, and a Budget vote.Voting Location(s): Voting takes place on Tuesday, May 19th at Niskayuna High School between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.Voter Access: You must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years or older, and a district resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote. Personal identification and proof of residence may be requested.Absentee Ballots: Absentee ballots are available 30 days prior to the budget vote for residents who will be out of town or unable to vote at the polls due to illness or disability. An absentee ballot application is required to receive an absentee ballot. To request an absentee ballot, please contact the District Clerk by phone at (518) 377-4666, ext. 4 or in-person at the District Office, 1239 Van Antwerp Road, Niskayuna. Applications are due seven days prior to the budget vote if the ballot is to be mailed. After that date, please contact the District Clerk for information on how to obtain an absentee or early mail ballot.
