I have proudly served on the South Glens Falls Central School District Board of Education for the past three years. I am also the mother of two children currently enrolled in the district, as well as a homeowner and taxpayer within the community.
My children are just beginning their educational journeys, and the quality of their education and overall school experience are of the utmost importance to me.
My top concern is bullying and ensuring it is addressed effectively, consistently, and compassionately within our schools.

I strongly agree that students, parents, teachers and staff, the administration, and the broader community are all equally important stakeholders in a successful school district. Each group plays a distinct and essential role in supporting student achievement and shaping the overall educational environment. Effective school board leadership requires listening to and balancing the perspectives of all constituencies while keeping the shared goal of student success at the center of every decision. When these groups work collaboratively and feel heard, schools are better positioned to foster strong academics, positive school culture, and long-term community trust.
This year, we already know the outcome of the South Glens Falls Central School District Board of Education election, and I am truly honored to continue serving our district. It has been a privilege to help make decisions that impact our students, educators, and the broader community.

As I begin my next term, I remain committed to listening, collaborating, and advocating for every student in South Glens Falls Central School District. I firmly believe that when we come together as a community, treat one another with respect, and stay focused on our shared goals, we can continue building a district that makes us all proud.
Im running for fifth three-year term on the South Glens Falls Central School District Board of Education. I first joined the board in 1980, and served two full five-year terms and three years on my third term before leaving to take a job out of town. I rejoined after returning to South Glens Falls.

I retired from Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown and additionally I worked at Albany Medical Center. For a combined 45 years. Im a graduate of South Glens Falls Central School District and SUNY Cobleskill, where I received a degree in Business Management. I have three children who have graduated from South Glens Falls CSD. Im the president of the Southside Cemetery Board of Trustees and a member of the Queensbury Masonic Lodge.
To provide the most opportunities for all our students as well as providing a budget that is community focused.
The on going concerns as to what our state government funding hoping there will not be any unfunded mandates. Even though we have been proactive regarding electric vehicles I worry about future funding to support this mandate.
