Do you have any additional comments?
I am finishing my first 5-year term and running for a 2nd 5-year term;
I have served as the Vice President of the Schuylerville Board of Education for the last 2 years;
I am a lifelong resident, an alumni, and an educator, which gives me a strong understanding of what the community and district needs to continue to thrive.
My motivation to serve on the Schuylerville Board of Education is rooted in the belief that my service to the district is incredibly rewarding. Also, to ensure our "small school with BIG opportunities" continues to thrive. I strive for us to maintain educational excellence by supporting innovative programs and upholding high academic standards. I fully understand the intensive commitment required and am prepared to continue dedicating my time to ensure our community and district needs are met.
My number one concern for the coming year is maintaining our current level of educational excellence given the unpredictability of state aid from year to year. The uncertain nature of state aid makes long-term planning of current and new programs challenging.

Strongly agree
I Strongly Agree with the statement that all stakeholders—students, parents, teachers and staff, the administration, and the community—are equally important. Education is not a task performed by a single entity but a shared responsibility. When any one of these groups is not valued or supported, it interrupts the overall success for the district. I understand that a thriving district is one where open communication and collaborative partnership among all five groups are prioritized, every voice contributes to the overall strength and success of the district.
I am thrilled to serve my community and view this opportunity as a privilege.
