How can you ensure that Berkeley County officials work first on infrastructure readiness (including school capacity) rather than development approvals first and fixes later?
What can an individual County Council member do to address worries that public safety obligations are not keeping up with current demand, let alone future demand?
How would you work to ensure Berkeley County remains attractive to businesses while also protecting the everyday livability of the communities?

Infrastructure is the MOST important issue for me. County Council deals with these problems often, and I hope to chair the finance committee. I would allocate more of the budget to roads. The current budget has 49% allocated to public safety. Something must change.
I would make sure that the money we spend on Public safety goes to new hires and salaries rather than military style equipment.
We have been giving huge tax incentives to businesses. While we need new businesses, we need to ensure these deals benefit our communities. Big business needs to give back to Berkeley.
