I plan to focus on what District 112 needs right now: updated, modernized infrastructure and better affordability in housing. I'd work to secure funding for public works projects as well as affordable and workforce housing options. Growth in our district is inevitable, so it must be smart and responsible.
On the state level, I'd prioritize issues that affect women and children as our current administration is failing both groups. I'd fight to reinstate women's reproductive rights, combat our atrocious maternal and infant mortality rates, and return South Carolina to a place where OBGYNs are willing to practice with confidence again. I'd also champion equal work for equal pay, better access to healthcare, and quality affordable childcare.
I'd invest in the safety of our children by ensuring common sense gun laws and gun violence prevention measures that coexist with the Second Amendment. I'd also invest in education by fully funding public schools so that our state can rise up from 43rd in the nation.
I am interested and qualified to serve on the Medical, Military, Public & Municipal Affairs Committee due to my background in medical, community, and mental health care and the social services.
It's important for South Carolina to have a balanced budget that provides the governmental services that its citizens count on: K-12 and higher education, healthcare, human services, and public safety. We all have to chip in to fund these services.
Our state has one of the lowest property tax rates in the nation, plus the Homestead Exemption that benefits seniors and homeowners that have disabilities. I'd like to keep it as is.
We don't need to lower income taxes to attract new residents to South Carolina. As of 2026, we are the fastest growing state in the U.S. People are moving here in droves; it's smart to capitalize on that influx.
Some politicians would like to decrease or do away altogether with income tax. I feel like this is short-sighted. Our state needs improvements in bridges, roads, utilities, schools, first responder and teacher salaries, etc. Let's raise up the infrastructure and people of our state now. Perhaps a cut to income tax is a possibility for the future once we're a more successful state.
Our state is in a culture war crisis that is stripping certain populations (women, minorities, LGBTQIA+ people, immigrants, non-Christians) of their rights. I am a proponent of diversity, equity and inclusion. The fair treatment of all people shouldn't be interpreted as an assault on the majority. Fair treatment isn't pie; there's enough for all of us.
As your District 112 representative, I will listen to you and your perspective on personal freedoms, social policy, and hot button issues. My work in Columbia will be inspired by what our country was founded on - the principle of equality for all and fair treatment under the law.
I believe in the separation between church and state. I believe in celebrating diversity and treating people of all colors, backgrounds, religions and sexual orientations with respect. My proposed legislation will reflect this personal and American value.
I do not support South Carolina's school voucher program. I believe in fully funding our public schools and strengthening them for everyone's benefit.
Private school vouchers siphon money away from classrooms where the majority of our state's children learn in. It's unfair to strip resources away from students in low- to middle-income families in order to subsidize private school attendance for upper-class families who can afford tuition out-of-pocket anyway.
A school voucher program will widen the divide between the haves and have-nots. Our public schools are already struggling to pay their teachers, upkeep their buildings, and provide a quality education. The last thing they need is less funding. Imagine their potential with full funding!
An improved, quality public school education for children would result in a better prepared, motivated adult workforce after graduation. The education system and our economy are interdependent. We should invest in our children with this in mind for a healthier, wealthier future.
New energy development simply must be environmentally responsible. It's crucial to get those laws in place before considering any proposals. My district's tourism-driven economy and our quality of life depend on preserving the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.
I'd like to see South Carolina explore renewable energy sources that harness the wind, water, and sun in order to combat climate change. Although natural gas isn't as pollutant as other fossil fuels, it still contributes to environmental and health risks.
It's not fair for residents to pick up the bill for new data centers that use an extreme amount of electricity in their operations. Data centers need to take responsibility for their own costs and not pass it along to residents. For me, it's always people over profit.

I think we need to reduce the state income tax over 4 years while also going through the budget to eliminate excess waste of funds
i believe as a representative we are called to represent all citizens of the district not a subsection so i will hold meet ups and also meet individuals
i support the expansion of the school voucher system as well to open the choice to any school including home schools as long as the state can implement protocol to monitor the increase in student learning and test scores
i believe we need to continue to work with the utility to modernize our energy grid as well look for new ways to environmentally build new plants as well as encouraging data centers to self contain and create their own power grid

Top 3 Priorities:
1. South Carolina is full
2. American Jobs and Taxes for Americans Only
3. Protecting Our Environment and Southern Culture
Committees I am interested in:
Education and Public Works
Reg., Admin. Proc., AI and Cybersecurity
Labor, Commerce and Industry
Government Efficiency and Legislative Oversight
I believe South Carolina is at maximum capacity. Our traffic is unmanageable, and we are rapidly destroying our environment. For example, the plan to bulldoze nearly 4,000 acres of wetlands in Cainhoy, a habitat to numerous endangered species, to make way for more housing will only worsen our congestion. Meanwhile, the cost of housing has skyrocketed, becoming completely unaffordable for many residents. Our infrastructure is already falling behind, and our unique South Carolina culture is being quickly diluted.
Furthermore, I believe it is a betrayal of the American worker when companies outsource jobs to other countries or prioritize foreign visa holders over our own talented, educated workforce. With college graduate unemployment at record levels and our middle class struggling, when companies refuse to hire Americans, they are only adding to the problem.
Finally, our beautiful environment and precious wildlife must be protected. Our natural landscape is the heart of South Carolina, yet it is being systematically dismantled. I will champion the preservation of our wetlands and open spaces, which are essential not only for our ecosystem but for the flood mitigation and quality of life and Southern way of life that our residents depend on.
I’m completely against raising taxes. My goal is to lower them, not increase the burden on you. To keep the budget balanced, I’ll push for thorough audits to cut government waste, get tough on those abusing our social programs such as illegal immigrants and career criminals, and end corporate tax handouts like the ones currently going to data centers.
I also believe in holding companies accountable for their betrayal of the South Carolinian worker. To prioritize our own South Carolina workforce, I propose a fee structure for companies that bypass local talent. For hiring foreign nationals, I would impose a $300,000 initial fee, plus an annual 50% salary-based fee. For hiring non-South Carolina residents, companies would face a $50,000 fee and an annual 20% salary-based fee. These measures ensure businesses have a clear financial incentive to invest in South Carolinians first.
All revenue generated from these fees, combined with the savings from cutting government waste and corporate handouts, will be dedicated exclusively to the people of this state. My priorities are clear. Provide competitive pay for our teachers and first responders, modernize our infrastructure to reduce traffic, support families with paid parental leave, and help South Carolinians afford their first home. We don’t need a tax hike. We need a government that finally prioritizes our educators, our public safety heroes, and our hardworking families over special interests.
I am running to represent the core values and foundational principles of Conservative South Carolina, not to cater to every passing trend or diverse viewpoint that drifts away from our heritage. My legislative focus is rooted in a commitment to getting back to our conservative roots. Prioritizing personal responsibility, constitutional governance, and the traditional Christian values that built this nation. I am driven by a sense of duty to uphold moral integrity, and I will consistently advocate for policies that reflect the principles that have made America strong.
While my guiding principles are unwavering, I am fully committed to listening to the people of my district. I believe that true representation means having a two-way conversation with constituents. Hearing their concerns and advocating for their interests within the framework of the conservative principles they elected me to uphold. I am driven by a sense of duty to act with moral integrity and will always prioritize the voices and values of the community I represent.
I believe this program is not using "public" dollars to fund private education. Rather, it is intended to return taxpayer funds to the taxpayer families who choose the private route. I believe the ESTF's digital wallet system is an excellent foundation for ensuring transparency and accountability. To further demonstrate the value of this program, I support establishing a baseline of public school test scores and conducting a formal comparison against results from private providers after a few years to measure student success. If there is a measurable improvement or demand, then we should continue to expand the program.
First, let me make it crystal clear that data centers must pay for every watt of electricity they consume. There will be no special government subsidies, nor any costs offloaded onto the taxpayer. Second, I support the expansion of South Carolina's energy grid, provided that it directly benefits South Carolinians and does not destroy our beautiful environment. These companies must prioritize hiring local South Carolinian talent, and work around our nature. I also support for the expansion of clean energy sources, such as nuclear power, while maintaining a pragmatic approach that does not ban or limit other energy sources such as natural gas.
