My top priorities include combatting misinformation, overcoming personal issues that prevent actual city business from being addressed, and becoming someone that the public can trust.
Our biggest challenge is navigating economic growth. My approach is to help facilitate a cohesive city government that works together to ensure the public can feel the positive impact of opportunities that come to our city.
Housing studies are currently underway and there are conversations being had with both builders and developers. The goal is to have affordable, quality housing for all.
Undetermined.
I hope to bring a strong sense of prioritization to our budgeting process and make sure that the true and immediate needs our city are being met. I believe this can be accomplished while still staying in the constraints of our financial boundaries.

* Maintaining a budget that keeps items in the right perspective in order to run the city properly. (i.e. to keep putting money into a leaking swimming pool vs. using the money to pave broken up streets) *Correcting unethical practices when hiring or placing someone under the direction of the city Economic Development Director/Operations Director. *The unethical placement of other business owners onto the JDA (Job Development Authority) which stops competition for the existing business.
The push by big tech industries trying to come into North Dakota and the environmental impact it will have on our agricultural communities and our way of life. The importance of government doing what the people who own land here want and what they don't want. What is the big vision of the residents for Beulah, Mercer County, and North Dakota as a whole, when it comes to what we will allow here and the affects of the businesses we allow. THE END NEVER JUSTIFIES THE MEANS!
When we do things the right way and bring in right businesses that are good for families and the environment, then and only then will Beulah become a city that others will want to come to visit, live in, and continue to be a safe and prosperous city to raise a family.
Just like any other changes that arise, we as a city must learn how to change and adapt to those changes and make the necessary adjustments. The city must keep the top priorities of maintaining the city top priority.
I understand how important it is to know the income and expenditures and I am not afraid to get rid of unnecessary expenditures in order to maintain and grow the city properly.
