We must determine how to stop spending our reserve funds on operating costs. We need to review the past to determine the future. With the new 3% cap on property taxes, we are at a critical time that requires us to do a better job of managing our Budget.
Budget We have found that we are spending reserve funds to fulfill our operational needs. It is time for more effort is spent on reviewing the budget and making sure that we can provide the necessary services at a lower cost.

It will have an effect. We must either determine how to control expenses within this cap, or we will be forced to determine a way to raise taxes in other ways.
I think the county is and has done a good job in this area.
