I would balance the need for adequate infrastructure and protection of our natural resources by taking a BOTH/AND rather than an either/or approach. Infrastructure improvements can and must be made in a way that does not interfere with the natural environment. Both can be accomplished in harmony make life safe for us as well as our planet.
To improve access to healthcare and family support services I will work with constituents as well as service providers to research and address the root causes of barriers to access to these services. These issues often layered, meaning, access is often impacted by underemployment, underfunding particularly in rural areas, transportation and other concerns. I will work with all parties/entities involved to ensure that services are not only available but accessible.
