Serving the people of House District 18 has been one of the greatest honors of my life. During my two terms in the Tennessee House, I’ve worked to deliver real results by strengthening public safety, improving infrastructure, protecting constitutional freedoms, defending parental rights, supporting quality education, and keeping Tennessee fiscally strong. I have sponsored and passed legislation that improves government transparency and serves our communities. I am running for re-election to continue building on that record and ensure Tennessee remains a great place to visit, build a business, live and call our home.
I have served on the Knox County Commission, Knox County Ethics Committee, and as Vice-Chair of the Knox County Republican Party.
My background in business, community service, and two terms in the Tennessee House has prepared me to serve effectively. As Vice-Chair of the Judiciary committee and a member of the Transportation Committee, I’ve worked on legislation addressing public safety, education, healthcare, consumer protection, transportation, election integrity, and government accountability. I’ve earned a reputation for listening to constituents, working with all legislators, and delivering practical solutions that strengthen our communities while protecting taxpayers.
The responsibility of a state representative is to faithfully represent the people of the district by listening, being accessible, and making informed decisions that protect both individual liberty and the public interest. That includes safeguarding constitutional rights, being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars, supporting public safety, strengthening education and infrastructure, encouraging economic growth, and ensuring state government is transparent, efficient, and accountable to the people it serves.
As the incumbent, the qualities I have are integrity, accessibility, and a proven record of getting results which define my service. I work hard, study the issues, and remain responsive to the people I represent. I believe in thoughtful, conservative leadership that brings people together to solve problems without compromising principles. My legislative record reflects a commitment to fiscal responsibility, public safety, education, healthcare, constitutional freedoms, and improving the quality of life for families across House District 18.
My priorities remain: (1) protecting public safety and supporting law enforcement; (2) keeping Tennessee financially strong through responsible budgeting, low taxes, and economic growth; and (3) investing in transportation, infrastructure, and educational opportunities that prepare students for success while respecting parental rights. I will also continue to work to improve government transparency and protect the constitutional rights of Tennesseans.

I am running for the Tennessee House because I believe state government should focus on solving the everyday challenges facing working families. Too many people are struggling with the rising costs of housing, groceries, childcare, and healthcare while feeling disconnected from the decisions being made in Nashville. I want to help make Tennessee more affordable, strengthen public education, invest in infrastructure that keeps pace with our growth, and expand economic opportunity. District 18 deserves a representative who listens, works across party lines, and puts practical solutions ahead of partisan politics.
For nearly two decades, I have led a local business, managed budgets, created jobs, and helped families and businesses recover from difficult situations. My work requires problem-solving, accountability, and bringing people together to achieve results. Beyond my professional experience, I have served in leadership roles with nonprofit, civic, and community organizations, working with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. These experiences have taught me how to listen, build consensus, manage resources responsibly, and make decisions that serve the broader community—skills that are essential for effective service in the Tennessee House.
The core responsibility of a state representative is to serve as the voice of the people in their district. That means listening to constituents, understanding their concerns, and representing their interests in the legislative process. A representative must carefully evaluate proposed laws, oversee how taxpayer dollars are spent, and ensure government operates effectively and transparently. The role also includes helping constituents navigate state government, advocating for community needs, and working collaboratively with colleagues to address challenges facing the state. Above all, elected officials should be accountable, accessible, and focused on improving the lives of the people they serve.

I am accessible and committed to hearing from constituents with different perspectives before making decisions. My professional and community leadership experiences have taught me the importance of balancing competing priorities, managing resources responsibly, and following through on commitments. I believe elected officials should be transparent, responsive, and focused on results. These qualities will help me effectively represent District 18 and serve the people of Tennessee.
If elected, my top three priorities will be affordability, infrastructure, and education. First, I will focus on lowering the cost of living by supporting policies that help families keep more of their income and address housing affordability. Second, I will work to improve transportation infrastructure and reduce traffic congestion on key corridors such as I-40, Alcoa Highway, Kingston Pike, and Northshore Drive. Third, I will support strong public schools, competitive teacher pay, and investments in higher education institutions such as the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State. These priorities will help strengthen our economy and improve quality of life in Knox County.
I am a husband, father, business leader, and community volunteer who believes government should focus on solving problems, not creating division. I am running to bring a practical, results-oriented approach to Nashville and to address the issues that matter most to families, including affordability, transportation, education, and economic opportunity. I will listen to constituents, work across party lines, and put people ahead of politics. My commitment is to be accessible, accountable, and focused on improving the quality of life for the people of District 18 and all Tennesseans.
