Immigration, Big Tech and AI, State Govt Spending, and Crime.
The biggest ND specific health care cost factor is the corporate consolidation that has taken place in ND in just the last few decades. Since the 1990s, ND prices have gone up, and ND care availability outside major metro areas has gotten worse. Higher prices, worse service - that's what we've come to expect from corporate mergers.

The government allowed all that consolidation to happen, so the government can also reverse it.
ND has a stable population. Housing shortages come from immigration into the state - legal, illegal, refugees, people moving for work, etc. We should ensure that criminals coming here from other states and other countries do not stay in North Dakota. This would reduce competition for all housing units, and it would make affordable housing units safer and more attractive.
I support this. The data shows that additional public K12 spending does not improve student outcomes. Smaller class sizes and smaller schools are two of the only things that seem to help outcomes, but our school districts are closing small schools and sending kids to bigger schools far away from home. I want more schools with fewer kids in them, because the data says that works. And I want more different approaches to education, because one-size-fits-none isn't working currently.
I want secure elections that the people can trust. I have served on canvassing boards, so I know with first hand certainty that voter fraud has taken place in our state.

I think access to voting is sufficient in ND. I do lament that some rural polling places have closed.
It is often said that America settled this question in 1865 with the bloodiest war in US history. The conventional wisdom is: The federal government won, forever.

However, in the last few years, de-facto federal dominance over America looks more fragile. Local jurisdictions have openly encouraged violent obstruction of federal agendas and federal law enforcement. The amount of federal power over the states very much depends on who's in the White House, not what the law says.

Affordable housing, taxing base that is fair, have programs that assist in building housing.
Our constitution tells us we must educate and we have a public school system that works. Other options are available if families so choose.
I think our system works and there are many ways everyone can vote.
I am for our states making our own decisions for the good of our citizens with citizen input.

Endorsements I have not yet sought endorsements for this campaign. In past elections, I received endorsements from Speaker Kim Koppelman, also endorsed by ND Farm Bureau because of my agriculture background and service on the Agriculture Committees. I have also been endorsed by Ag Commissioner Doug Goehring. I have also been endorsed by North Dakota Family Alliance and North Dakota Right to Life.

Advocacy for: safe communities, policies that help fill workforce shortages, efforts that ensure the continued growth and success of the ND State College of Science, limited regulations, abundant affordable energy supply, tax relief for ND citizens.
Competition among medical providers and insurance providers is the most impactful way of keeping both affordable.
One of the greatest deterrents to home ownership is real estate taxes. The lower we can keep property tax rates, the more we allow home owners to apply and qualify for loans. The more we keep in the buyer’s pocket, the more they are able to apply available funds to payments of interest and principle. Lower interest rates help buyers shorten time to when their home purchase is paid off in full. That is a good day!
This depends on the context. What non-public school items are suggested? school supplies, instructors, free lunches, vaccinations, athletic programs, bricks and mortar? The state is constitutionally obligated to provide for education of our children. This can be applied in widely varying degrees. I would have to see the context.
The election system is quite accommodating and easily accessible to the voters of North Dakota. The NDSOS website is helpful in keeping voters informed and finding their voter locations. Use of voter identification ensures ND citizens vote in ND elections. It is important that citizens be confident in our elections, that ensures we have a reliable election system that prevents fraud and ensures accuracy.
I whole heartedly support ‘states’ rights’ which is a constitutional provision. The best form of government is that closest to the people which is also most in the peoples’ control and most efficient. There are things that we as a state are unable to provide for ourselves like national security and defense as an example, however the states interests are best served by the state’s citizens and those we elect to represent us.
