Parents are the legal guardians over their child’s education and should be able to choose between traditional, charter, online, homeschool, private or other quality options.
I support policies that guarantee fair and transparent elections while preserving our constitutional rights and liberties.
I support the tenth amendment. Our federal and state government should be transparent and limited. Healthcare and education are issues to address, whereas both need to be retuned to the state.

1. Strengthen ethics in state government by supporting and enabling the Ethics Commission to properly do the job for which it was created by the voters.
2. Provide transparency and fiscal responsibility in the financial appropriations and accounts for all the various funds that the state maintains such as the Department of Trust Lands. To make sure that money spent is inline with the purpose the funds were originally set up for and that they will continue to help make life affordable for us.
I would expand the education programs at all state schools for medical careers while providing tuition grants for graduates that stay to work in the state, with an even larger emphasis for graduates who commit to working in rural areas. Use existing and new programs that collaborate federal, state, and private funding to prioritize care over profit while encouraging healthy life choices and preventative medicine.
I would work with city and county commissioners and zoning officers to provide lower cost lots for the specific purpose of lower cost housing with input from local builders and contractors. Continue to fund the Bank of ND first time home buyers program and expand the role of the BND in housing finance while taking a serious look at how the state treats large out of state corporate real estate owners for income tax purposes. Provide property tax relief for primary residences only.
I am not in favor, I believe it would put even more pressure on rural towns and cities that are trying to maintain and attract residents.
I believe we have a good working system that we can trust and be proud of. I would support any efforts to make state issued ID's easier to obtain.
I believe the general rule should be whoever dictates the law should also pay for it. A federal mandate without funding is an overreach. Individual states rights that are in direct conflict with other states rights need to be addressed by the federal government.
