I believe elections should be easy to participate in, hard to manipulate, and trusted by the people. To me, this means expanding early voting, improving poll worker training, reducing long lines, and ensuring seniors, military families, and people with disabilities can vote without unnecessary barriers. I would also like to extend our voter registration deadline and potentially include same-day registration. These measures help maximize access to voting in our state.
I support improving health care access by focusing on affordability, prevention, and practical solutions that meet people where they are. That means expanding access to quality primary care, supporting rural hospitals and community health centers, increasing mental health resources, lowering prescription drug costs, and strengthening workforce development so more doctors, nurses, and providers serve underserved communities. I also believe we must remove unnecessary barriers that keep working families from getting care before small problems become costly emergencies. Every South Carolinian deserves the opportunity to live a healthy life, regardless of income. Most importantly, we should expand coverage!
I stand for responsible data center regulation that protects South Carolina’s natural resources, safeguards our communities, and ensures everyday South Carolinians are not left paying the price for corporate expansion. That means protecting our water supply and energy grid, preventing excessive strain on infrastructure, and making sure large-scale developments do not drive up utility costs for families and small businesses. I also believe vulnerable communities should not bear the environmental and land-use burdens of data centers without seeing real economic benefits in return. If companies want to operate here, they should be good neighbors by protecting our environment, respecting local communities, and creating meaningful jobs.
