As a state legislator, I would support legislation that enacts automatic voter registration for all citizens of South Carolina 18 years or older.
I also support increasing the number of voting precincts, especially in areas with large population growths. While it always makes me feel good to see lines outside of a polling place because people are participating in democracy, we need to ensure that voting is safe, secure, and QUICK! We also need to increase the pay of poll workers and make their payments tax-free.
I support the expansion of Medicaid, which would cover over 350,000 South Carolinians who do not currently have health insurance. I also support expanding scope of practice for pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and physicians assistants and allowing them to practice to their abilities.
We need to ensure that data centers do not harm our electrical grid, our environment, or our natural resources.
I would support legislation that requires data centers to pay for their own power (as opposed to making ratepayers cover the cost), use a closed-loop water system, and power down when the energy grid becomes strained.
I also believe that local governments should have the final say in whether a data center is built in their community.

Multiple locations to vote. Mail in voting. Fully staffed voting locations with poll managers and poll watchers.
South Carolina should expand Medicaid. There also should be plenty of urgent care locations and mobile health vans that circulate parts of the state. These can provide various services.
I do not support data centers -- at all. To me, none should be in South Carolina.
