My service oriented experience and performance from 22 years
in the United States Air Force demonstrate my dedication. Holding a Bachelors Degree in Business/Supervisory Management and my experience with government contracts and project management will be useful in my duties. I have raised two children in Sullivan County Schools and I am active in my community.
From my communications with the community, they are most
concerned with high taxes, education improvements and road
maintenance. Additionally, concerns were consistently raised
regarding the need for term limits for Commissioners and more
checks/balances than backroom deals and agendas. Several requests were also made to expand our court system to include a robust juvenile justice and detention system. Teacher pay equality with Kingsport City Schools is often mentioned as is the protection of students and utilization of wise, conservative curriculum.
