As a dedicated resident of Limestone with deep roots in Northeast Tennessee, I am committed to the long-term success and integrity of District 2 and Washington County. I bring nearly 30 years of experience in public policy—particularly in healthcare and energy—public affairs, and corporate communications. My strong understanding of government roles, combined with years of hands-on experience in the legislative process, shapes my candidacy.

I am also a retired professional, a mother of two married daughters, and a grandmother to six. I have served as a proven advocate and an effective leader at local, state, and national levels. I approach challenges with clarity, creativity, and sound judgment.
Restoring public confidence and trust in the Washington County Commission is critical. While my key priorities are (1) safeguarding clean water, (2) protecting our rural land and character, and engaging in smart, responsible growth, issues of particular concern include: (1) establishing more meaningful property tax relief for Washington County seniors; (2) extending the County's new moratorium on data centers (including cryptocurrency); and 3) ensuring greater transparency and accountability in Washington County government by seeking to amend the County's Ethics Policy to ensure Commissioner compliance with state mandated requirements, and improving access to records by removing unnecessary obstacles that slow and discourage public access.
