How will you ensure the needs of the Montgomery County community are reflected in the annual budget?
What infrastructure improvement projects would you prioritize to improve the day-to-day life of Clarksville residents?
Candidate- Why
I am running because my home flooded in May of 2025 due to improper storm water management. I am running because I will be available to my constituents in times of crisis and also, to be a listening ear of their ideas. I also want to focus on the underserved youth in our county. Transportation is a huge barrier that limits these youth from having access to school, afterschool activities and community resources. Youth should not suffer because mom and dad do not have a vehicle. Transportation for all will increase school attendance and youth involvement, which will in turn help our entire society grow stronger.
Candidate- What
I am mom, a veterans wife and a local athlete. I commit to keeping our community healthy through my work and I volunteer my time often in causes I feel passionate about, such as homelessness, peace builder and our youth.
Candidate- How
I plan to hold the developers and street department accountable for current flooding conditions and approvals for future projects. I will work to have free youth transportation using methods already proven in any other cities. I will fight back against major home developments in areas that already suffer with traffic stress.
I will do this by staying directly connected to the people that I serve. I want to understand the challenges from the people by holding community meetings, talking with neighbors and also service providers. I will use that information, as well as data to identify gaps in areas like housing, transportation and youth services. Ill advocate for a budget that prioritizes those needs in a responsible way.
We have several projects already underway that will help district 20. There are some that are paused or that will take many years to complete. The Spring Creek Parkway Project, the TylerTown Road Project, the Trenton Road Project and the Tiny Town Road Project will all help the flow and congestion of traffic in our area. I also believe speed cushions and rumble strips should be placed in our neighborhood on main "cut through" roads to reduce speeding.
