One of main points I want to address in Cassia County involve maintaining and strengthening the public’s trust in local government. I want you to know that our county offices are working together and communicating clearly. As County Clerk, I will prioritize open communication and consistent public engagement so residents can feel confident in our local government. Another point will be protecting trust in our voting process. Elections are one of our most sacred duties as citizens, and the County Clerk has visible and essential responsibilities so that every voter knows their ballot is handled securely, accurately, and impartially. My focus will be on ensuring that every eligible voter can participate with confidence and that every vote is counted according to the law. My approach will be rooted in service and accountability.

My background in IT and Leadership has prepared me to address these challenges with a strong foundation in problem solving and collaboration. In my professional work, I’ve spent years analyzing complex systems and developing solutions that improve projects. These skills will translate directly to the responsibilities of the Clerk’s office. I trained to understand how processes work, how communication breaks down, and where to streamline operations. I’ve worked to build diverse teams in order to bridge gaps between departments. These are skills that will allow the Office of Clerk to maintain public trust in local government. I understand how to listen, how to collaborate, and how to create systems that serve people.

Staying engaged with the people of Cassia County begins with a commitment to accountability and transparency. I believe residents should always know how decisions are made, and how their concerns are being addressed. I will maintain open lines of communication so the public can easily access information, ask questions, and receive clear responses. I will also stay engaged by being present in the community. Listening directly to residents, attending local events, and meeting with community groups. Engagement isn’t a one time effort; it’s an ongoing responsibility.

I believe the county’s two most important challenges are responsible budgeting and protecting election integrity. First, our budget must meet the essential needs of county operations while adapting to ongoing financial constraints. My commitment is to ensure we continue delivering reliable public services without disruption. I will operate fully within Idaho statutes and laws, stay engaged and accessible, and listen closely to the community. Second, maintaining fair and impartial elections requires strong, consistent anti‑fraud measures. Our office will continue to follow the election laws outlined in Title 34 and the directions of the Secretary of State. We will uphold strict verification of voter registration and identification, along with several other safeguards. I stand strong on accuracy, integrity, and transparency. In my 18 years of service, I have direct, hands-on experience in the Clerk's office. I've worked in every division, understand the legal requirements, and have already been trusted with leadership as Chief Deputy Clerk. I also have the full endorsement and support of Clerk, Jospeh W. Larsen, who knows the job better than anyone. As Clerk of the District Court, Idaho Code § 31-3107, allows elected officials to appoint deputies as the business of their offices may require.
