Campaign Statement I’m running for County Treasurer because I believe managing public funds is one of the most important responsibilities in local government. In my previous role at the Ada County Treasurer’s Office, I oversaw banking, investments, and cash management for the county. I’ve spent my career managing complex financial operations and safeguarding assets, and I want to continue that work to ensure taxpayer dollars are protected, invested responsibly, and managed with transparency and accountability.

One of the biggest challenges facing Ada County is managing rapid growth while maintaining financial stability. As our population increases, so does the demand for infrastructure, public safety, and essential services. That puts pressure on budgets and on taxpayers.

Another key challenge is balancing the need for tax relief with the responsibility to maintain strong reserves and meet long-term obligations—especially in an environment where economic conditions can change quickly.

From the Treasurer’s perspective, the way to address these challenges is through disciplined financial management. That means safeguarding public funds, maintaining strong liquidity, and investing county resources conservatively to generate returns without taking unnecessary risks.
I bring a combination of direct public service experience and extensive private-sector financial expertise. In my previousrole as Banking & Finance Manager at the Ada County Treasurer’s Office, I oversaw all aspects of public funds management, including cash flow forecasting, investment portfolio administration, and regulatory compliance. That means I already managed the county’s day-to-day financial operations and ensured taxpayer dollars were safeguarded. Before serving in the Treasurer’s Office, I held senior treasury and finance roles at companies like Micron Technology, Lamb Weston, and Clenera, managing billions of dollars, implementing risk management programs, and ensuring strong internal controls. That experience gave me a deep understanding of cash management, investments, and strategic financial planning—skills directly applicable to running a county treasury effectively. Additionally, I hold multiple professional certifications in public funds investment and Cash Management
I’ll be accessible and transparent, keeping constituents informed about county finances and available to answer questions. That includes in-person meetings, clear online communication, and responsive customer service, so taxpayers know their money is being managed responsibly.

The biggest challenges facing Ada County come down to one thing: the area is growing rapidly. When you boil it all down, Ada County’s challenges come down to three big questions. First, can infrastructure and services keep up with how fast the area is growing? Second, how do you make housing more affordable without hurting quality of life while not worsening traffic or overcrowding schools? And third, who should pay for all the growth? Answering these questions will be achieved through open communication, collaboration and dedicated elected officials who have an eye on both the short and long-term solutions. At the end of the day, Ada County isn’t struggling because it’s failing and I believe we can continue to thrive through planning and preparing for the future. The real challenge is making sure that growth doesn’t come at the cost of reliable infrastructure, and the quality of life that brought people here in the first place.
Ada County doesn’t need someone to just hold office; it needs a proven financial steward. With rapid growth and increasing demands on local government, taxpayers require leadership that will: • Protect every taxpayer dollar • Operate with transparency and accountability • Apply private-sector discipline to government finances and operations • Eliminate inefficiencies and reduce waste • Collaborate with Elected Officials & Community Leaders • Plan responsibly for long-term growth I have spent my career doing exactly that. I understand government must live within its means, prioritize essential services, and always remain accountable to the people it serves. I will bring proven leadership, a commitment to our community with a private-sector mindset focused on integrity, collaboration and accountability. My experience and work ethic is exactly what Ada County taxpayers deserve in the critical Treasurer role. I ask for your support by voting for me in the 2026 Primary and General Elect
I will engage with residents by being accessible, transparent, and consistent. I will make it a priority to communicate clearly how taxpayer dollars are being collected, managed, and spent. I will hold regular community meetings and attend local events across the county to hear directly from residents about their concerns and their ideas for a stronger Ada County. I will ensure our office is easy to reach, responsive, and helpful when people have questions or need assistance. I also believe in using technology to improve engagement. That means making financial information easier to access online, simplifying property tax explanations, and providing regular updates so residents aren’t left guessing. Engagement isn’t just about talking, it’s about listening and following through. My commitment is to make sure every resident feels heard, understands how public funds are being managed, and has confidence that their local government is working responsibly on their behalf.
