The most important responsibility is the fiscal responsibility to protect taxpayer dollars while ensuring public funds are managed ethically and transparently.
Under the Ohio Revised Code, the Treasurer serves as the county’s banker, tax collector, and Chief Investment Officer which requires us to collect property taxes, safeguard public money, and invest idle funds with a focus on safety, liquidity, and return.
Wise financial management allows the county to generate additional revenue that can be reinvested in schools, infrastructure, and essential community services without raising taxes.
For over 25 years, I have managed finances across private businesses, local governments, and federal programs. I’ve overseen investment portfolios, budgets, and projects up to and over $300 million.
My background as commissioner appointed Interim Greene County Treasurer, CEO, financial analyst, board member, licensed realtor, and program manager has required disciplined risk management, strategic investing, and strong fiscal oversight. This experience equips me to safeguard taxpayer dollars, maximize responsible returns, and ensure public funds are managed transparently and effectively.
I will bring our investments and deposits back to Ohio. When county funds are deposited in Ohio based institutions, those deposits support local lending, strengthen small businesses, and circulate money back into the community.
I will protect public funds while investing them safely to help offset costs and reduce the burden on taxpayers.
I will serve our communities with care by helping them understand their taxes, ensuring they receive eligible deductions, assisting those with financial hardship, and making sure every decision strengthens the financial future of Greene County families.
