Real estate taxes are the most pressing issue. The shift in school funding has increased the burden on homeowners, and we must work with the State to provide immediate and meaningful relief. Job growth is also critical—our efforts have added over 5,300 jobs, and we must continue that momentum. We must continue to invest in infrastructure to support growth while managing costs. Finally, we must balance residential and commercial development while preserving the unique character of our rural and suburban communities.
I bring over two decades of public service and leadership experience as well as over 30 years of business ownership. I served 12 years as a Fairborn Police Officer, earned a Master of Accountancy, and became a CPA. I’ve worked in public accounting, business, and as Greene County Treasurer managing $130M. As Commissioner since 2019, I’ve focused on fiscal responsibility, reducing taxes, and supporting job growth, helping add over 5,300 jobs while strengthening our local economy and community partnerships.
My top priority will be reducing the burden of real estate taxes on seniors and homeowners. The shift in school funding has placed too much responsibility on local taxpayers, and I will continue working with state leaders to pursue immediate and meaningful, long-term relief. At the same time, I will support job growth to strengthen our tax base, invest responsibly in infrastructure, and ensure we balance development while preserving the character of our communities.
I believe the best approach to property tax relief is increasing the owner occupancy and homestead credits, with homestead relief targeted to those most in need. The State should fund these increased credits to reduce the burden on local taxpayers. We should also push them to explore options to freeze property taxes for seniors so they can remain in their homes. At the same time, all levels of government must work to control spending to reduce any need for future tax increases.

My priority is clear: delivering affordability, property tax relief, and safe communities through common-sense economic growth. For our seniors and working families, the cost of living is the defining issue of our time. By partnering with municipalities to eliminate service redundancies, the county can lead the way in fiscal responsibility. As commissioner I will maintain an active, consistent dialogue with State Legislators to ensure local interests are protected. True county leadership must be transparent, approachable, and always willing to listen and learn from the voters.
With 16 years of humble service on the Xenia City Council, I possess a deep and practical understanding of how municipal government operates. As a business owner for 30 years, I’ve had the responsibility of signing the fronts of paychecks, not just the backs—an experience that has shaped my fiscally responsible approach. As a lifelong Conservative Republican, my record proves a steadfast commitment to supporting local law enforcement and first responders, keeping communities safe. I will bring that same dedication to the county if elected. I'm ready to work honestly and with integrity.
"Transparency must be our first priority.
Currently, Greene County Commissioner meetings are held on Thursday afternoons—a time that makes it nearly impossible for working citizens to attend. I will move these meetings to a time that works for you. Furthermore, I believe county residents should be allowed to speak on any local issue during public comments—whether it’s water needs, land use, traffic concerns or street repairs—not just items pre-selected for the agenda. There seems to be a disconnect from the voters toward the commissioners. I will work to restore that faith and commitment.
While every landowner has the right to the peaceful enjoyment of their property, rising costs are putting that at risk. Regarding fiscal policy, the county's .5-mill property tax rollback was a welcome step, but we must ask: why was it only a temporary measure in an election year? My goal is to determine if this relief can be made permanent or if those funds could better serve our community by supporting municipalities with critical street repairs and 911 dispatch services. I am running to ensure your tax dollars are used effectively, transparently, and for the long-term benefit of every one.
