The challenges facing our city center on emergency services, economic development, and maintaining the quality of our infrastructure and community amenities. Public safety has to remain our top priority as demand on EMS, fire, and law enforcement continues to grow. We need to focus on attracting new investment while also ensuring the businesses already here can grow. Maintaining infrastructure and community amenities is essential to preserving the quality of life residents expect.
Prioritizing essential services, controlling costs, investing in economic growth to expand the tax base, and continuing to make smart, long-term financial decisions without overburdening residents.
I bring a background in healthcare and public safety, where I work daily with EMS agencies, hospitals, and community partners to improve systems, coordinate resources, and solve complex problems. My role requires strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions in high-pressure situations. As a longtime Kettering resident and active member of the community, I understand the needs of our neighborhoods and the importance of listening to residents.
I see the role of city council as making sure the city is doing what it’s supposed to do and being accountable to the people who live here. That means being transparent, asking the right questions, and making sure taxpayer dollars are being used wisely. At the end of the day, it’s about representing residents and holding city leadership to a high standard.
