If elected, I will prioritize restoring civil liberties and solidify the state's financial obligations to schools, libraries, first responders, and public infrastructure. Many of these goals will require a rollback of unhelpful and ideologically driven regulations that emerged over the past few legislative sessions.
I will bring greater transparency and fiscal responsibility to the legislative process by working more actively with local stakeholders on their priorities, including making fair rules about zoning, housing and development that help address the challenges of the unaffordable cost of living for many in our community.

More than any single policy, my hope is to bring civic dialogue and engagement back into the political process, so that everyone in our community feels like their voice is being heard in the Idaho legislature, and they know their representative is listening to them. Coeur d'Alene has a wide variety of differing political views, but I am confident we can come together to create a local platform that reflects who we are as a community.
As a representative, I do not answer to a political party, but to this community. We will work together to establish how I represent us in Boise, and I'll make sure to be open and available to hear everyone's input, no matter where you land on the political spectrum.
Campaign Statement
I’m a lifelong Republican, former Coeur d’Alene School Board Chair, and community leader focused on results, accountability, and local control. I’ve passed levies, managed budgets, and expanded student opportunities. When North Idaho College faced serious challenges, I co-founded Save NIC to help restore stability and protect this vital institution. In the Legislature, I will focus on strengthening education, supporting public safety, improving access to healthcare, and protecting taxpayers. I believe responsible budgeting means making long-term decisions—not shifting costs onto local families. My goal is simple: keep North Idaho strong by focusing on practical solutions that serve our community.

If elected, I will focus on practical solutions that strengthen North Idaho. My top priority is improving Idaho’s education funding formula so it reflects real costs and reduces pressure on local levies. When the state underfunds education, the burden shifts to local taxpayers—that’s not a tax cut, it’s a tax shift.
I will protect and expand student opportunities, including career technical education and flexible learning options. I also support banning synthetic kratom products, which can produce morphine-like effects and are currently sold near schools without age restrictions.
A one-size-fits-all approach to budget cuts doesn’t work. We must prioritize funding that directly serves students and families and delivers real results.
I co-founded Save NIC during a critical time for North Idaho College. Helping create awareness in our community was a challenge that shaped me—bringing people together, communicating clearly, and staying focused on results to restore stability and protect accreditation.
I was elected to the Coeur d’Alene School Board and served as Chair, where I passed levies, managed budgets, and expanded student opportunities.
As a mom who raised kids in our public schools, I’ve seen firsthand how these decisions impact families.
I’ve also served as a precinct committeeman and worked in political consulting. My experience in governance and budgeting means I don’t just talk about problems—I know how to fix them.
One of the biggest challenges is ensuring decisions made in Boise don’t create unintended consequences for local communities. When funding falls short or cuts go too far, the costs don’t disappear—they show up in higher property taxes or fewer services for families.
Another challenge is keeping focus on core priorities like education, public safety, and healthcare, rather than getting pulled into issues that don’t deliver measurable results.
We also need to restore trust through transparency, accountability, and respect for local control—so decisions reflect the people they impact.
I believe public service is about showing up, doing the work, and being accountable to the people you represent.
I’m not running to be the loudest voice—I’m running to be an effective one. I’ll listen, ask questions, and focus on solutions that make sense for North Idaho.
I grew up here, raised my family here, and have spent years working to strengthen our schools and community institutions. That experience shapes how I approach decisions—with a focus on long-term results, not short-term politics.
My commitment is simple: to represent North Idaho with integrity, common sense, and a focus on results.
