I am running for City Council because Lowry Crossing deserves leadership that combines technical expertise with fiscal discipline. With a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, I offer a professional perspective that understands both the complexities of infrastructure and the necessity of a balanced budget. In my professional career, I have worked extensively with diverse stakeholders to solve complex problems. As a Field Cost Control Engineer, I was responsible for budget forecasting and financial reporting on large-scale projects, ensuring that resources were used efficiently and transparently. My experience as a Supervisor and Optician has refined my ability to listen to residents' concerns,
I expect significant residential and commercial pressure due to our proximity to McKinney and Princeton. My plan is to advocate for proactive zoning that protects our one-acre lot identity while designating specific corridors for smart commercial growth. We must update our Master Plan now so that we are not simply reacting to developers, but directing them.
Our current options are limited and car-dependent. I support the continued rehabilitation of FM 546 and Bridgefarmer Road to handle increased traffic safely. I also believe we should strengthen our partnership with the McKinney Urban Transit District (MUTD) to ensure our seniors and residents without vehicles have reliable access to regional services.
Drainage and culvert maintenance are the most urgent non-transportation issues. Many residents face standing water and erosion that threaten property values. I would prioritize a city-wide drainage assessment and seek matching grants from Collin County and state agencies to fund these repairs without placing the entire burden on our local budget
We must keep our property tax rate competitive. I support maintaining a strong homestead exemption and exploring a "No-New-Revenue" tax rate approach. Additionally, by automating city administrative tasks using modern technology, we can keep our overhead low and prevent the need for tax hikes to fund a growing bureaucracy.
My plan is "Smart Growth Finance." We should ensure that new developments pay their fair share of infrastructure impact fees so that existing residents aren't subsidizing new construction. I will also push for transparent, digital-first budgeting where every dollar spent is easily trackable by the public.
My vision is a "Balanced Lowry." We must protect the 1-acre residential tracts that bring people here, but we also need a dedicated commercial tax base along our main arteries. This allows residents to shop and dine locally, which keeps sales tax revenue within our city limits rather than sending it to neighboring towns.
I will maintain an active presence at Collin County Commissioners Court and regional planning meetings. Small cities win by building strong alliances. I will work closely with TxDOT on our road projects and seek inter-local agreements for shared services like emergency response to ensure we have top-tier safety at a lower cost.
Public safety and communication are vital. I would advocate for upgrading our emergency alert systems and ensuring the City Council is more accessible through live-streaming meetings and regular "Town Hall" updates. Transparency is the key to maintaining the trust of our community.
I am interested in the city council seat to listen to concerns from the community and to affect change for community when ever necessary.
Traffic needs; traffic lights, noise control from loud trucks, better roads.
Bus lines
Traffic lights, police presence, better streets.

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE OUR COMMUNITY SAFER. I WAS A VOLUNTEER FIREMAN IN THE NINETEEN EIGHTIES, I HELPED THE WATER DEPARTMENT IN THE 1970S. WHEN IT GOT STARTED. AND I HAVE ADVISED CUSTOMERS AND RESIDENCE FOR THE BEST SOLUTION ON THEIR AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING.
I would like to make sure that companies and businesses coming into the community, our revedable businesses. That will help our community grow and not destroy it.
Road construction and reopen roads that have been closed. To make it easy for our residents.
A police department, bringing it to the voters. Try to get more residents involved in voting for what is needed. In environmental studies that need to be done to keep water runoff from affecting our community.
Keeping our tax base down and not let it run rampant. To keep the cost of projects within the scope of reason.
By looking at everything that's brought in front of the city council. And making sure that people are informed on what their tax paying money is spent on.
To move forward on housing. No more sixty by a hundred lots. Bring it back to the city's original acre. A acre and a quarter lots so people can grow. For businesses to keep them clean an honest.
Do you stay informed and be at the meetings. Not just the ones required. To be there when questions are asked. And be able to help answer the questions for the citizens.
People not being up front and trying to change things without approval. To make sure everything is read and not just passed over. And to make sure that everyone is heard.
