I have lived in Hamilton County off and on for roughly 25 years. I started my life here, have moved away but always found my way back to Chattanooga. I have been back in Hamilton County this time for 12 years.
The biggest challenge is learning and navigating the processes and procedures to best help the constituents of District 8. I want to be able to take action as soon as possible to make the lives of Hamilton County residents better.
I grew up in a working class family of small business owners where we managed small restaurants, weekend festivals and a movie theater in addition to normal 9-5 jobs. I have lived and traveled in many different communities and learned that people all over the world are working toward the same thing, a better life for themselves and their children. I believe that I can represent the working people of District 8. In my adult life, I have worked in a number of different industries. Throughout my diverse roles, I started from the ground up advancing to leadership positions where I gained a skillset to lead. I understand what it takes to do the job, and I am committed to working tirelessly to support individuals and families that call District 8 home.
