I have lived here since I was in Kindergarten. I moved away for 5 years to attend UTK, but eagerly returned after I graduated.

When I was growing up I went to CSAS. My friends lived all over Hamilton County. I learned how different life was depending on where you lived.

When I moved back I wanted to buy a house in a neighborhood that reminded me of CSAS. I live in Ridgedale and moved my 29yr family business there permanently last year. I work there with my mom. This is my home. I love it.
Negotiating serious investment in the neglected infrastructure of historic neighborhoods. Street safety, sidewalks, a new building for Orchard Knob Middle School, and parks are needed. In order to do this I will focus on proven compounding small scale projects.

District 4 investment can offer solutions to other districts experiencing crowded schools and overdevelopment. Right now District 4 is both a boon and a burden, but that is NOT because of the people's lack of effort.

There is an incredible diversity of trades where people work HARD for less than they are worth. I am a true believer that we are only as strong as our poorest areas. We must offer real opportunities that will generate additional investment without displacement.
I am fulfilled. I have achieved all things I truly desire in my personal life. I am emotionally invested in my area being the best place for all to thrive because I'm thriving here. I think all people need to have the same or better opportunities I did. I am in my forever home.

I am compassionate. My friends are the people I want to keep living and working in district 4. They are teachers, social workers, librarians, union folks, service industry workers, artists, construction workers, engineers, and scientists. I like to understand people's struggles and I genuinely care about how they are doing in life.

I am a fantastic problem solver. My least favorite thing to hear is "we can't". I don't believe in 'can't'. For every problem, there is a cause, and there is a solution. I will ask as many people as I can to figure out how to get something done. I will talk to anyone. No blame games. No egos. I have a strong will. I don't take disagreements personally, but I do take notes.
