How long have you lived in Hamilton County?

36 years
The greatest challenge is managing growth while protecting the quality of life in our communities. Hamilton County is growing quickly, especially in the unincorporated areas, and residents are concerned about traffic, school capacity, and preserving the character of their neighborhoods. Too often, growth has outpaced infrastructure.
My focus is making sure development aligns with infrastructure capacity, including roads, public safety, and schools. That means continuing to advocate for infrastructure investments and ensuring decisions reflect the needs of residents, not just the pace of development.
Another challenge is maintaining fiscal discipline during growth. Responsible governance requires using taxpayer dollars wisely.
I bring a combination of public service experience and private sector leadership. I have served this community for more than a decade, first on City Council and now on the County Commission, giving me a clear understanding of how local government works.
Professionally, I lead engineering teams in healthcare, focusing on accountability, data driven decisions, and results. That experience allows me to evaluate complex issues, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered effectively. I stay engaged with constituents and value clear, honest communication.
I have also been directly involved in delivering real outcomes for District 3, including investments in schools, road infrastructure, and community facilities. My wife has been a teacher for over 16 years, which gives me insight into the challenges in our schools. As a husband, father, and grandfather, I am personally invested in making Hamilton County a strong place for families.
