I’ve lived in Hamilton County for 34 years. I was born in Wiesbaden, Germany while my father served in the Army, and moved to Chattanooga at age 4, where both sides of my family have deep roots. This community has always felt like home. I chose to raise my daughter here because of its strong sense of community, safety, green spaces, and continued growth.
One of the greatest challenges will be earning trust and building strong working relationships while stepping into a complex system with long-standing processes. I’m prepared for that. I will show up consistently, ask thoughtful questions, and stay focused on collaboration. My priority is ensuring District 2 residents are heard and represented, and I’m committed to working professionally and persistently to deliver results.
What makes me qualified is my commitment to listening and showing up for the people of District 2. Residents have raised concerns about infrastructure, development, and school capacity for years, and many feel they haven’t been fully heard. I take that seriously.
I’m already meeting with residents, hosting small discussions, visiting problem areas firsthand, reviewing public records, and staying informed on local school decisions. I’m not waiting to be elected to start the work, I’m already doing it, and I’ll bring that same commitment to serving District 2. I won’t promise to be a perfect commissioner, but I will be an accessible, engaged, and accountable one who does the work.
