How long have you lived in Hamilton County?
What is the greatest challenge you anticipate facing if you are elected?
What characteristics do you possess and/or what life experiences have you had that make you believe that you are the most qualified person for this office?
I have lived in Hamilton County since 2019 and proudly call it home. I was raised in Memphis and spent my career with American Express, which took me to several cities across the country, including Chicago. After leaving corporate life, I returned to Tennessee and chose Hamilton County as my home.
The greatest challenge will be managing growth in a way that preserves the character, natural beauty, and livability of Hamilton County.
Our community is experiencing meaningful growth, which brings opportunity, but also places increasing demands on our land, infrastructure, and neighborhoods. This requires thoughtful, forward-looking planning rather than reactive decision-making, so we can protect what makes this area special while preparing responsibly for the future.
An equally important part of that challenge is ensuring more balanced representation in the decision-making process. Women’s perspectives are currently underrepresented in our county government, and that shapes how priorities are set, particularly when it comes to families
I bring leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a clear commitment to this community.
I spent 20 years with American Express in a leadership role with global exposure, working with people from a wide range of cultures and perspectives. That experience shaped my ability to listen, understand different viewpoints, and approach challenges with a broader perspective.
Since making Hamilton County my home, I have built relationships, organized community efforts, and stayed engaged with residents. I value collaboration, open dialogue, and practical solutions.
I also bring a perspective that is underrepresented in our county government. We need more women in leadership. Women often approach decisions with a focus on collaboration, long-term impact, and the well-being of families and communities.
I am prepared to lead with both strength and compassion and to bring a balanced voice to the future of Hamilton County.
