Community ISD Trustee, Place 6

4-year term, elected district wide. Must be at least 18 years old, a United States citizen, a qualified voter, and a resident of the District. The Board of Trustees makes all final decisions regarding school district priorities, policies, personnel, textbooks, expenditures, and growth management. Trustees adopt a budget, levy taxes, and submit bond issues to finance construction projects.

I want to help CISD develop a state-of-the-art CTE facility and bring our athletic facilities up to par with other schools in our district.

I am a league commissioner and head coach for our youth football program and assistant coach for youth basketball.

As a current business professional, the assistance of AI in every facet of construction is currently being used. AI is an amazing tool and the demonization of it at the school level is misplaced. It reminds me of teachers stating we’d never have a calculator in our pocket when we grow up. Now our phones are more powerful than the computers that helped us get to the moon. We need to find a middle ground and embrace rather than shun.
