My beautiful wife and I have a Pomeranian named Max and are blessed with two daughters and two granddaughters. We volunteer with many charitable groups to include the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I retired as a Command Sergeant Major with nearly 30 years in the Army and have worked with legislators from both sides of the aisle to improve the services that our veterans receive here in Texas.
MBA graduate of Texas A&M with formal studies in executive leadership from the US Army. Responsible for training and leadership of up to 145,000 soldiers and civilians with operating budgets of $4 billion. Successfully led private companies and nonprofit boards cultivating cooperation across inter-disciplines to reach a consensus with positive outcomes that were realistic and mutually beneficial.
Cohesive leadership and tumultuous development. With my professional development plan and selfless leadership, cohesive decision making will address the priorities of Conroe, assist in the development of an over the horizon forecasting model that is necessary to stimulate the economy, improve the aesthetics of our community and work through adversity as we heal our city for future prosperity.
Conroe’s Police, Fire and other partner services do a superior job. I applaud these men and women who willing run towards danger and the cries for help. But there is a great need for those like me who have been tested under extreme conditions to forecast, proactively budget, resource, and plan large scale exercises to identify our strengths and weaknesses and improve our services to the public.
I will seek to mitigate the perceived communication crisis, by first recommending we assemble to achieve consensus of objectives for the benefit of Conroe and the majority of our citizens. I will also seek an improved feedback process to bring information quicker to city council and provide timely feedback that is understandable to our constituency, as I did when I was a Command Sergeant Major.

I am a family man who believes in showing up for Conroe. I’ve served as a MUD and POA President and led a mentoring program at my son’s school. I’m a straightforward person who listens first and does what’s right. I’m running for City Council because I’ve heard from neighbors and small business owners who feel ignored. I want to bring balance back to our local government.
I have 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, where I learned how to solve tough problems and work with all kinds of people. My time leading local boards taught me how to manage budgets and be accountable. I don't have a personal agenda. I am focused on being a practical, honest leader who listens to the people of Conroe before making big decisions.
1. Public Safety: We must pay our police and firefighters fairly, so they don’t leave for other cities. Keeping the best heroes here keeps us safe.
2. Managed Growth: Our city is growing fast. We need to plan ahead for better roads and water. I will support our small businesses and ensure that new growth benefits the people who live here, not just outside interests.
We must learn from every crisis. I will focus on better communication between the city, the county, and you. In an emergency, you deserve fast, honest information. I will also make sure our first responders have the tools they need and that we constantly update our safety plans based on what has happened in the past. Being prepared saves lives.
Communication should not be a one-way street. I will be a visible leader who meets with you at local events and businesses. I will work closely with county officials to fix regional issues like traffic. Most importantly, I will make sure your voice matters. When you speak up, I will listen and make sure you are part of the decision-making process.
