Political Experience I have served as a Precinct Committeeman for many years and have been a delegate to every Indiana Republican Convention since 2016. I previously worked in the Washington, D.C. office of then-Congressman, now Senator Jim Banks. Additionally, I served as Chair of the Allen County Republican Women and currently serve as Vice Chair of the Allen County Republican Party. I am honored to currently serve as your Allen County Recorder and hope to continue serving our community in this capacity.

I am seeking reelection as Allen County Recorder to continue improving service, transparency, and accessibility to our residents. During my first term, we expanded the free Property Fraud Alert with text notifications and implemented a Notary Fraud Alert to strengthen fraud prevention. We launched a new website, reduced costs by switching credit card vendors, streamlined in-person recording processes, and continued to preserve old record books. We did all of this while remaining fully self-funded, operating without the use of property taxpayer dollars. These initiatives were an important first step, but I belive there are more opportunities to further improve our services and better serve the community.
If elected to a second term, my top priority will be protecting homeowners from property and real estate fraud. This is a growing issue in our community and across the state, and I believe we must take a proactive approach to ensure more Allen County residents do not fall victim to it. I will continue strengthening fraud alert systems, expanding outreach, and working with partners to improve prevention efforts. I will also continue to preserve original paper documents to ensure they remain protected for future generations. I will expand access to public records by making more documents available online, increasing transparency and convenience. I will prioritize updating aging technology to improve efficiency and service.
Although the Recorder’s Office may not be the most widely recognized county office, it is among the most essential. When the founding fathers of Indiana established our state government and constitution, the county recorder’s office was the first county office they created, recognizing that a clear and reliable record of property ownership is fundamental to a well functioning society. Today, the Recorder’s Office continues to fulfill that vital role with a small but highly dedicated team. In the past year alone, we recorded 60,179 documents. Because these records are considered permanent, we also microfilm each document to ensure long-term preservation, while maintaining and protecting the millions of already entrusted to our care.
