For the past 30 years I have served the people of Allen County by supporting our families, solving real life challenges and delivering results. I love this community and I know this community. I am running for Allen County Commissioner as a Republican to bring my strengths, experience, and leadership that focuses on people first to support a vision for Allen County that is safe, connected, prosperous and open for business. I am planning to support this vision by focusing on three pillars:
Public safety- fast and reliable Fire and EMS, backing the Sheriff,
Smart growth and strong infrastructure - fixing what is ours, smart zoning and land decisions,
Economic development and quality of place that draws talent, families, and investment.
I support development as a key part of Allen County’s economic growth, while recognizing the need to balance competing priorities. We must create jobs and attract investment, but also protect existing neighborhoods, infrastructure, and long-term land use goals. That’s why strong zoning and thoughtful planning are essential—ensuring each project is compatible with its surroundings. I support renewable energy, including solar, as part of our future, but projects must be responsibly sited with clear standards and community input so they align with broader community priorities.
County government should focus on essential services, not holding excess real estate. If the building is no longer needed for public use, selling it can reduce maintenance cost, return the property to the tax base, and open door for private investment that benefits the entire community.
