Henry County Treasurer
County Treasurer is considered the custodian of all money belonging to the county and the investing officer of these funds. The treasurer is responsible for reconciling between the cashbook and financial institutions. One of the largest sources of money coming into the county is property taxes, and the treasurer has the duty to collect property taxes through a billing and receipting process. The county treasurer, along with the board of county commissioners, make up the county board of finance which has the inherent duties to determine the local public depositories for all the public funds of the county as well as review the overall investment policy.

I am currently completing my first term as Henry County Recorder. I hold a master’s degree in business management and have spent the past 20 years working as a Real Estate Appraiser and Realtor.
Community involvements
I have been actively involved in the Henry County community since moving here 27 years ago. My current and past involvement includes: • Hagar’s Hope – Board Member • Kiwanis – Past Board Member • Henry County GOP – Vice Chair • Henry County Republican Women – Founding Member • Henry County Republican Club – Member • Henry County Landbank – Board of Directors / Secretary • Henry County Relay for Life – Founding Co-Chair • LIVE Coalition – Henry County Health Department • Henry County SIM/CIT Comm
I am currently completing my first term as Henry County Recorder. During my tenure, I successfully led the full scanning and digitization of all documents within the office. I also implemented a new software system that allows public access to records online, improving transparency and efficiency.
This upgraded system has created new opportunities to increase revenue through tiered access to online documents, while maintaining accessibility for the public.
I hold a master’s degree in business management and have spent the past 20 years working as a Real Estate Appraiser and Realtor. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the importance of accurate public records and the need to keep real estate taxes fair and manageable.
