The Montgomery ISD goals focus on Academic Achievement, School Safety, Finance and Operations, Human Capital, and Communications and Customer Service.The key roles and responsibilities of the school board members are:· Hire and evaluate the superintendent and delegate all administrative responsibilities· Approve the school district’s budget· Establish goals and evaluate outcomes· Adopt and evaluate district policies· Communicate with the communityThe Board functions according to state and federal laws, the rules and regulations established by the State Board of Education, and the Texas Education Agency. Term: Three (3) years
