Nebraska US Senator

6-year term, $174,000The Senate is the upper chamber of the two houses of the United States Congress. Each state elects two senators. Alongside the House of Representatives, the Senate is responsible for creating and passing the country’s laws. Additional powers granted to the Senate include advice and consent — meaning ratification of treaties and confirmation of U.S. Supreme Court justices, cabinet secretaries, ambassadors and other important federal seats. It also has the responsibility of conducting trials after the House begins impeachment procedures.

Enforcement of our current laws. Laws are enacted to be followed; they are not suggestions.
Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the U.S. Constitution, explicitly vests the power to declare war exclusively with Congress. Therefore, the Senate (along with the House) should exercise its responsibly as the sole arbiter of war. Responsibility to country must supersede party affiliation. With regard to the Iran War, the Congress once again has failed to perform its duties.

While a true imminent threat might require the President to act quickly, I would be in favor of amending the War Power Act timeframe to 14 days.
Interaction should be civil and professional. We need to elect officials in all branches of government who do not act like 4th graders during recess.

A policy program that allows for workers to come into the US. A way for those who have been in this country for extended periods of time and contributing to this country a timely way to achieve legal status. A program that allows Dreamers to achieve citizenship in an efficient manner. Strong removal of violent criminals.
Insuring fair trade policies. Funding a strong military which includes pay that allows military families to live and feed their families without depending on SNAP and/or food banks. Taking back the Legislatives Branches authority to determine war.
Tough question. A simple answer would be for good bipartisan communication that would allow for all to come to an agreement. It would require both sides to give on some stances. We need to get away for both parties taking radical stances.
I think it should be regulated, but really do not know enough at this time to take a strong stance on any particular position,

United States safety and security comes first over any other countries. Foreign policy is the other country respect us we will respect them and the treaty as long as it benefits everyone
To sit down and talk about the issue and realize some of people views won’t match but try to come to a middle ground
Hell yes, I am a person who believes if we don’t we might end up like the terminator movies or matrix
