The county treasurer is responsible for receiving federal, state, and local revenue belonging to the county and distributing in funds as according to the law.
I have worked alongside our current treasurer for the past 8 years and attended meeting 3 times a year to stay on top of changes in the law and county government.
I do not think I would change much of how the office runs because it does run efficiently as it is however maybe a bit of modernizing to help keep things running smoothly.
