My life has been about service. I’m the son of an Air Force veteran, and I served with the 82nd Airborne Division, where I learned discipline, teamwork and leadership under pressure.
Scotland County is my home. As a math teacher and tutor, I solve problems and let numbers drive results.
That’s what our budget needs: fair taxes, open spending and real oversight.
Through Fight For Vets, I’ve brought community partners together to support our veterans. I know what it takes to create jobs and bring in outside dollars.
I’ll take on what residents raise most: EMS response times, public safety, jobs and schools. I’ll listen first, report back often, and stay accountable.
The most important issue is growing our economy so Scotland County can afford the services families depend on. Too many residents are struggling, too many young people leave to find work, and our tax base is too small to carry rising costs. That pressure affects everything: EMS response times, public safety, jail capacity, schools and infrastructure. Raising taxes on working families isn’t the answer. We need to bring in employers, support local businesses, and draw visitor dollars from neighboring counties. We also need every budget dollar to be spent openly and wisely. A stronger economy is how we keep taxes fair and make our county safer and healthier.

Raising taxes on working families isn’t the answer.
We need to bring in employers, support local businesses, and draw visitor dollars from neighboring counties. We also need every budget dollar to be spent openly and wisely.
A stronger economy is how we keep taxes fair and make our county safer and healthier.
I’ll propose practical policies that grow jobs without putting more weight on taxpayers.
First, I’ll push to get industrial sites shovel-ready and market them to employers who pay good wages.
Second, I’ll work to cut red tape for small businesses so permits and approvals move faster.
Third, I’ll back workforce training with our community college and schools that matches the jobs employers need.
Fourth, I’ll support tourism and events that bring in visitor dollars from wealthier neighboring counties.
Fifth, I’ll fight for countywide broadband so people can work and learn from home.
Finally, I’ll support hiring veterans and require clear reports on every incentive we offer.
I’ll work to make social services easier to reach and more accountable for results.
First, I’ll push for a one-stop approach so families can get help with food, housing, healthcare and childcare in one place.
Second, I’ll support mobile and satellite outreach so rural residents and seniors don’t have to travel far for help.
Third, I’ll back partnerships with churches, nonprofits and veterans groups to expand services without raising taxes.
Fourth, I’ll make overdose prevention and mental health care a priority.
Fifth, I’ll support fair pay and training for caseworkers so we keep good staff.
Finally, I’ll ask for public reports on wait times and outcomes.
Scotland County gave my family a home when my father retired from the Air Force, and I’ve spent my life trying to give back.
I served with the 82nd Airborne Division, I’ve taught and tutored students in math, I run my own business, and through Fight For Vets I’ve brought neighbors together to support the veterans who served us.
I’m running for County Commissioner because our county deserves leaders who listen, plan carefully and deliver results.
Our families are dealing with hard times, slow EMS response, public safety concerns, too few good jobs and young people moving away.
These problems are real, but they can be solved. I’ll treat every tax dollar with respect, tell you plainly where it goes, and keep you informed about what we’re doing.
I promise to serve with honesty, hard work, and common sense. And I'll always tell you the truth.
I’m not running to serve one community or one party. I’m running to serve all of Scotland County.
I’d be honored to have your vote.
Position/philosophy statement
Your service should be pleasing to God!!!!
