The main issues facing people are the rising cost of living, access to good paying jobs, underfunded schools and a system that gives billionaires and huge corporations tax breaks while the rest of us choose between gas and groceries. I will address these challenges with a specific legislative agenda. We must renew home repair funding to help low and moderate homeowners stay in their homes. I will fight to pass rent stabilization because stable rents mean stable communities and successful schools. Corporations shouldn't be allowed to use artificial intelligence to inflate our grocery prices. I will fight to ban this practice. Finally, we can fully fund our schools by making billionaires and mega corporations pay their fair share in taxes.
Democracy works best when every voter can participate freely and confidently. I support automatic and same day registration, expanded early voting, language access, mail-in voting and making election day a holiday so working people aren't forced to choose between a paycheck and their voice. We must also strengthen election security by investing in modern voting equipment and rigorous audits to protect against interference. I oppose voter suppression in all forms and will work to ensure that accessible, transparent and trusted-because the power in a democracy belongs to the people, not politicians and political machines. I also support campaign finance reform and publicly funded elections because big money hijacks democracy.
The state's budget process is too often delayed by backroom negotiations that leave working families, schools and service providers in limbo. The people deserve transparency, accountability and process that puts community first-not politics. I support earlier public negotiations, clear deadlines and consequences for missing them including not getting paid as a State Representative. If we don't work we should not get paid. I also support taking a multi-year budgeting approach and better revenue forecasting to prevent last minute crises. A timely budget is about efficiency and stability for families.
We must require data centers to bring or pay for their own power generation, protect water resources, be transparent with communities, and hire local workers. State regulation should set clear baseline protections such as energy efficiency requirements, grid impact assessments and water conservation standards. I support requiring data centers to use 100% renewable energy, conduct independent environmental impact studies, conserve water, and enter binding community benefit agreements that include local hiring, union labor, and investments in neighborhoods. Local governments must retain the power to pass stronger ordinances, especially to protect environmental justice communities that have historically borne the burden of pollution.

Community advocate who has worked closely with nonprofits and families to support education, improve neighborhoods, and bring people together. Focused on listening, showing up, and getting things done for the community.
The most pressing issues facing District 22 residents are access to quality education, housing stability, public safety, and trust in government. Many families are stretched thin, schools lack resources, and residents often feel unheard. I would address these issues by listening first holding regular community meetings, working with local organizations, and centering solutions around people most impacted. I support investing in schools, expanding affordable housing, strengthening community-based safety programs, and improving access to social services. Real progress happens when residents are part of the solution, not an afterthought.
I support changes that make voting easier, safer, and more transparent while respecting the hard work of our election officials. This includes expanding early voting, improving language access, ensuring polling locations are accessible, and providing better training and resources for poll workers. Election officials deserve protection, clear guidance, and adequate staffing so they can do their jobs without intimidation. Strengthening public education around the voting process is also critical to building trust and confidence in our elections.
The state budget should be done on time and with transparency. Delays hurt our schools, nonprofits, and families who rely on these resources. I believe in starting conversations earlier, working across parties, and keeping the public informed. We also need to listen to our communities so the budget reflects real needs. Getting the budget done on time means stability for the people we serve, and that should always come first.
I strongly believe land use decisions should remain with municipalities under the Municipal Planning Code. Local governments understand their communities, infrastructure, and environmental limits far better than one-size-fits-all state mandates. While the state can set basic guidelines, it should not override local authority or public input. Municipalities must retain the power to regulate data centers in ways that protect residents, resources, and quality of life.

Inflation and the rising cost of living are top concerns. Seniors are struggling to remain in their homes as the costs for food, medicine, and utilities outpace fixed incomes. I advocate for lowering property taxes without raising sales or income taxes by increasing state revenue through skill games and recreational cannabis. We must also balance economic development with quality of life. Our neighborhoods are currently struggling with traffic and noise resulting from massive warehouse and data center expansions. I support zoning that protects open space and ensures that developers, rather than taxpayers, fund infrastructure upgrades for projects such as the Allentown State property.
My primary goals for the district are to: a) Enable the public to actively engage with their government. b) Ensure the safety and security of all residents. c) Support elected officials in performing their core duties effectively rather than constantly reacting to chaotic situations. To achieve this, I plan to implement regularly scheduled town halls, consistent office hours, and both in-person and virtual listening sessions. Additionally, I will establish clear timelines for responses to ensure accountability and open communication.
The budget process should begin earlier and not be delayed for political purposes. I support implementing a firm deadline, similar to the law requiring school districts to have budgets in by July 1. If there is any delay, legislators should be required to remain in session until a budget is in place. Furthermore, legislative pay should be suspended until a budget is passed. Implementing these measures would ensure a much more efficient and timely process.
Effective regulation requires a balance between economic development goals and protecting the local quality of life, including environmental impacts on water and air. Municipalities need to adopt well-reasoned and legally sound ordinances that align with both the MPC and the specific needs of their community.
