As for training & experience, I have over 3000 hours of continuing education and 30 years of experience in law enforcement service. I have learned to take in & objectively evaluate information on a matter by matter basis determining how the law applies to it and acting on it.
As for characteristics, I was raised by my father & mother in a Christian home. They taught my siblings & I right from wrong, to respect the law, to treat others with dignity & respect, to think for ourselves & make our own decisions. Leadership, integrity, and compassion are traits that will make me the best JP I can be
As Justice of the Peace, I will ensure that I and my office staff take advantage of applicable trainings and resources. I will also build and foster positive working relationships with other offices and stakeholders to ensure our duties are accomplished effectively and efficiently. Thus allowing us to better serve the community.
Fairness, due process and equality are cornerstones of justice.
Every person that enters my court will be treated with dignity & respect. By using my years of experience as a public servant to evaluate each matter before the court objectively and with impartiality will ensure that due process is achieved and the law is applied equally for all.
