Biographical Information

What occupational, civic, and community experiences have you had that particularly qualify you for this elective office?

What do you see as the most pressing issues facing your district and how would you deal with them?

What would you do as a county supervisor to ensure all residents of your district have equal opportunities to access and enjoy the resources of the county (affordable housing, safety, health, and jobs)?

Including mental health, what do you see as major public health issues facing the county? And how is county government positioned to address those issues?

I retired from the State Department of Corrections as a Probation/Parole Agent. In addition, I have held various positions that bring over 40 plus years of AODA, mental health, and elder abuse knowledge. I completed the Muskego Police Citizens Academy, 2 ridealongs with Muskego officers, and participated in one of their field trainings.
Law Enforcement is an area I feel is key to maintaining and improving Waukesha County’s quality of life. If people don’t feel safe, other issues pale in comparison.
I believe communication and transparency are what it takes to focus our efforts on addressing where our resources can best be made available to all residents.
Waukesha County has a large Mental Health and AODA problem that I don’t think many residents are aware of unless it has directly impacted them. Throwing funds at these issues isn’t the best way improve these deadly diseases. We need to pinpoint the causes and not just the end stages of these problems. Education will help to get more residents involved in exploring resources such as area churches and community groups. We need to be smarter in how we attack these areas.

I have been a licensed Realtor in the area for over 25 years. I volunteer for my local Chamber of Commerce & Church. I have served as VP at St. Leonard's Home & School Board and on my subdivisions HOA Board. I currently serve as an Alderperson for District 5 in Muskego & I am the current Waukesha County Supervisor for District 24. I am proud to serve on the HHS & JLE Committees and love to help my community wherever possible.
The budget. Keeping taxes down & not compromising safety & public services.
Collaboration with all departments & stakeholders to develop & implement best practices for all those affected.
Crime, drug use & mental health are major issues affecting most counties. There needs to be shared collaborative measures between, public & private sector. The Government cannot solve all problems.
