Slogan Continuing to build a better Berlin Township
1. Keeping taxes low. Our team has secured over $1 Million dollars in grants for our township. We will cut costs through shared services and smart budgeting.

2. Continue on building our reinvigorated youth sports, senior programs and adult recreation. Making a real sense of community.
Rising costs of living is the most important issue facing not only Berlin Township but all of New Jersey. We must continue to do more with less which means smart budgeting and relying on grants. Our team has the experience, knowledge, and connections to make sure we get our fair share not only from Camden County but the State of New Jersey.
I 100% support shared services with neighboring municipalities. In fact we already share a CFO and until the end of the year a Police Chief with Voorhees Township. Mayor Magazzu and Council has obtained a grant from New Jersey to conduct a study of forming a new Municipal Ambulance service to be shared with multiple other communities. It is our goal to increase staffing levels and pay of our EMTs while decreasing response times to medical emergencies. We have reached out to two other towns so far to join us in this venture and to help offset the costs. When this is accomplished we will be a model for the rest of Camden County.
Keeping our tax rate low has always helped promote economic development in Berlin Township. In working with our Planning and Zoning Board we have made it very easy for businesses to come and build here. I would continue with this business friendly approach.
I have been employed by the Camden County Department of Public Safety for the past 27 years. During that time I was promoted to Lieutenant and then Captain where I now serve as a Watch Commander at the 9-1-1 center. Public Safety and Service has been my life. I am a Life member of the Berlin Inter-Community Ambulance where I first started volunteering for at the age of 16. This puts me in a unique position to help with the creation of the Municipal Ambulance Department. For over ten years I was on the Board of Trustees for Communications Workers of America Local #1014. During that time I served on the negotiating team representing 1500 public service employees, fighting for a fair contract with fair pay.
