(1) My highest priority is to ensure Fiscal Responsibility & Budget Management providing our residents with a place that they will always call home.
(2) Maintain visibility, transparency vision and for Bellmawr's future based on listening to our residents
(3) Continue active engagement in all aspects of our community as we prepare to implement multiple events for our centennial ( 1926-2026 )
(4) As Vice Chair on Redevelopment Agency to finalize with all parties the long awaited construction as all NJ State approvals are final after many years of diligent work at the Creek Road remediation site with access road ready to be built and construction to follow with a "waterfront park" (paid for by the developer) to be the initial project.
Bellmawr's highest priority for the immediate future is to maintain fiscal responsibility by securing additional sources of revenue from new businesses, final approval and soon to be construction of redevelopment of Creek Road, and traffic remediation throughout the Borough by partnering with NJDOT to relieve some of the tax burden on our residents. Furthermore, as Recreation Chair to maintain and enhance parks and fields for safe and enjoyable outdoor activity for a healthy community
I am strongly opposed to any consideration for consolidation of municipalities as Bellmawr's independence is paramount to our residents.
We have been particpating in shared service agreements through our public works department with surroundiing communities to provide considerable revenue and cost saving on a win/win basis for everyone such as trash, paving, curbing, sharing of equipment, etc. Additionally we particpate in a shared service EMS agreement for ambulance service to a surrounding community. Finally a well designed stipend plan for our EMS and Fire assures immediate response for any emergency.
My goal, as always, is to encourage new businesses to make Bellmawr their home. Our industrial park is at maximum occupancy, our newly developed business alliance meets regularly sharing ideas promoting Bellmawr. Currently I am part of a redevelopment committee working with NJDOT and Turnpike Authority to alleviate traffic construction at Exit 3 of the Turnpike and Black Horse Pike where a new exit ramp should provide far less congestion during morning and evening rush hours. Additionally, I will work to ensure the reduction of noise level with the missinig moves project.
I am a neighbor who has devoted my life to serviing Bellmawr's youth & residents. I strongly believe in a small town you serve the residents NOT those of a democrat or republican agenda but as what is best for Bellmawr. I currently serve the community as Recreation & Finance Chair with safe & accomodating parks and athletic fields for all abilities , Additionally I have the experience as Council President, VFW Auxiliary President, American Legion SAL Treasurer, Prior Coach and General Manager for Bellmawr Purple Eagles, Bellmawr Hockey, Garden State & South Jeresey Baseball. My prior education experience was as a local teacher, principal and superintendent. Currently I serve as an adjunct professor and administrator for Rowan University.
