The Independent Democratic Candidate
The Borough Council has an agenda that they are working on. I would support their decisions and offer guidance as needed. Audubon Park's form of government is a strong council with a weak mayor.
The biggest issue which is a recurring one is to find additional revenue streams.
I am opposed to consolidation of municipalities but am in favor of shared service agreements.
That is a tricky question. Audubon Park is unique in that the property belongs to the Audubon Mutual Housing Corporation. So in order to attract new development and new businesses the 499 shareholders would have to vote to approve any initiatives. That would be out of the borough's jurisdiction.
I am experienced in dealing with profit an loss issues during my 38 career with the same corporation. I have managed manufacturing plants in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
