The Rensselaer Common Council represents the residents of the City of Rensselaer as the legislative body responsible for setting the governing policies of the city. The Council adopts the City budget and passes laws, policies and regulations that govern the City. It is made up of 6 elected officials, one representing each ward, and is chaired by the Common Council President, who is elected citywide. Its leadership includes the President Pro Tempore and Majority Leader. It is the Council s job to work cooperatively with the Mayor and the City administration to insure that tax dollars are responsibly spent and that all residents have access to the services and programs that make urban living safe, affordable and desirable.

Consumer Representative for 30+ years working with Towns, Cities, Villages (Municipalities), Residential and Commercial customers.
I currently work with Residential, Commercial and Municipalities customers on a daily basis to address their questions related to natural gas.
To address safety concerns related to traffic on city streets and pedestrians, (walking, running, cycling, etc.)sidewalks.
Address sewer depressions/upgrades.
Fix Flooding -Rock Cut Road.
Work on getting a dedicated EMS service in the City of Rensselaer.
Married with twin daughters. Have lived in the City of Rensselaer since 1998. I enjoy spending time with my family, teaching fitness classes and taking long walks.
